Just as it is impossible for something pure to enter into impurity and remain pure, so it is impossible for the Mother of God to give birth to the Savior of the world if she herself were afflicted by original sin.

The greatest force in creation is the flame of love. It bears witness to life—endlessly.
When Did You Last Pray Fervently?
Mine is a life without glitter.
Gone are the cheerful days.
Painful is the burden of unease; heavy rests the yoke of worry upon my shoulders.
My crushed spirit is in search of consolation.
I am in a state of manifest misery.
How am I to break free from such sorrowful bondage?
I have been robbed of my ultimate essence—the treasure of gratefulness for life.
If God is the author of life—as He truly is—then I am to be thankful for this most undeserved gift.
How am I to be beholden to Him, if not through prayer? How am I to be devoted, if not through the impassioned invocation of His holy name?
When speaking to Jesus, blessings indeed become bounty; for when praying earnestly, the gates of Heaven open, and God’s wisdom begins to pour into a restless soul.
In moments of profound spiritual union with the Almighty, I feel affirmed and restored.
In the hour of my deepest communion with Him, renewal sets in.
I am once again able to discern the will of the Son of the living God.
My worries die within me when I speak to Christ.
When embraced by the Divine, my heart is emptied of human clutter and worldly anguish.
Thereupon, I realize that I shall once again be able to carry my cross faithfully, glorifying God and consoling my fellow man.
The more I contemplate the dying face of Jesus upon the Cross, the more healing begins.
Every form of depression disappears.
Every feeling of inadequacy crumbles.
Every thought of torment melts away.
In times of fervent prayer, I realize that Jesus suffered more for each one of us than we ever shall, than we ever possibly could.
